La Grange Public Library

The La Grange library is a wonderful place. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, there's a great children's area, a room for young adults, and the atmosphere of the entire library is relaxing and welcoming. I love the many extras offered, too (specialty items that can be checked out, access to online research materials and newspapers, Freegal, Hoopla...) and the wide variety of programs available. Something for everyone. It's a great boon to the community.

Past couple of times I've been in there. Homeless without shoes on..or the homeless getting drunk in the library. Completely disrespectful. Also noticed when I go into the bathroom. There is usually beer bottles in the trash. If I'm just a random patron and I noticed this multiple times, how can no one else?. Please get the drinking under control. There are plenty of teenagers and little children exposed to this. I will not be returning anytime soon.

This library is ideal for me because no matter where you sit, there's likely to be an outlet. However, good luck trying to get a spot in front of the library. It's a little too crowded even when the library isn't open, so I know some of those cars aren't for the library.

Children’s section is very good, lot of toys to play with. Friendly staff, large collection of books (you can also request books from other libraries around) and easy checkout.

La Grange Public Library has such a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The staff is always willing to help and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The building is clean, bright, and well-organized, with plenty of space to read, study, or just relax. They also host a variety of programs that really bring the community together.
