La Gracia Bakery and Sandwich Shop (Colombian)

The staff has great hospitality and was super welcoming. I was looking for pastries that had guava and cheese in it and the lady at the front desk took the time to explain the different ones they had. 🥐🥮 I also got 2 beef and 2 chicken empanadas. She recommended eating it with the sauce they made. I also ordered a Colombian iced coffee and because of the wait (which wasn’t long at all), she made my husband a cup too. 🥹 We got our food to go, but there is seating inside with a nice atmosphere. 10/10 overall!! Everything was soo delicious!! 🤤

After living in Lakeland for 1 year, I found this hidden gem and I’m so happy about it! The staff was so inviting and welcoming, very nice and attentive. Loved that they really wanted to know if we liked the food, and we absolutely did. The food was amazing and honestly the Jugo de parcha estaba SUPER! The best one I’ve had because I’m so picky when it comes to parcha. I now know where to come when I am missing home❤️ Muchísimo gracias La Gracia

Small bakery with a limited number of items. But what they may lack in selection they more than make up for in quality. We ordered a Cuban sandwich, some chicken and beef empanadas, and some guava pastries. The Cuban was awesome with a fresh baked sandwich loaf instead of the traditional Cuban bread. The flavor of the bread was close but with a welcomedl softer texture. The ingredients were fresh (hand cut to order). The empanadas were a seemingly lighter baked rather than hard fried presentation. And the pastry was reminisant of baked goods I used to get along the Columbus Ave section of Tampa's Cuban row 30 years ago. Go there!!!

Lovely traditional Colombian cafe with a very homemade atmosphere. It feels like you're in the living room of a traditional Colombian home. Great service, coffee and empanadas. They have a variety of bread and Colombian traditional foods. We were able to snack good empanadas and gourmet coffee while working in our laptops. They have a couple of tables with plugs for our computers. Great place to have a great coffee while munching delicious empanadas and being productive as well.

This place is so welcoming. The staff is gracious and kind. They take the time to get to know their customers and their likes. It’s like a piece of NY/NJ right here in Lakeland. My parents retired and moved down and had been missing their Colombian bread and empanadas and La Gracia helped fit the bill. I’m so glad they are here and will definitely be coming back. I only wish they had more food but with the limited space I know they can’t get everything in!
