La Fiesta Alteña Taqueria in Folsom is a great spot when you’re craving flavorful Mexican food. I recently tried their lengua burrito bowl, and it was excellent. The lengua was tender, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the rice, beans, and fresh toppings. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. I also ordered the flan for dessert, and it did not disappoint. It was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of caramel sweetness—definitely a nice way to finish the meal. Overall, the food was delicious and the portions were generous. If you’re in Folsom and in the mood for a good burrito bowl and a tasty dessert, this place is definitely worth a visit. 🌮🍮
Great spot with bold flavors and a welcoming vibe. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned, but the pickle spicy onions were the real standout—so good and totally addictive. Definitely coming back!
When you see a line inside the restaurant, that’s an indicator the food must be good. Glad we made the choice and were blown away by the delicious tacos, pastor quesabirria and the chips. Service was speedy and our server Paty J was patient with the recommendations! Thank you Reasonable prices for such great authentic Mexican food.
Its good! The presidente was my favorite. Really basic ingredients, grilled tortilla, 🍤, cheese, and a smoky Chipotle sauce. The super Taco was a lot of lettuce so it turned into a taco salad which was a bonus. The Pastor was the winner of the meat contest between pastor and asada. Free chips and salsa with purchase which were Self serve so I did not feel shamed going for seconds😋. I am not a huge fan of the soupy salsa, so the lime avocado cilantro was my go to. The food was brought out as it was ready (1-2 items at a time). it was hot and came out fast. They had outdoor seating that when the weather permits is a great option. Next time I go I will stick to the street tacos and try different meats along with my presidente. Enjoy!
One of my top 3 taquerias within the Rocklin/Folsom/Roseville/Granite Bay area easily. Delicious tacos and burritos and the salsa bar is excellent. The staff is also very friendly and the pricing is quite fair. I'll definitely be back for lunch here.
