Great food and really friendly service. The meat was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The portions were generous and everything tasted clean and authentic. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The place was also very clean and the staff made the whole experience easy and welcoming. If you’re in the Folsom area and want solid halal food, Halal Grill Express is definitely worth stopping by. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I’ve been here 3 times now and the food is always top notch. Everything is fresh and very delicious. No matter if you are getting chicken or beef kabobs, lamb over rice, eggplant, or even fries. Everything is always very good. Customer service is also amazing. I spoke with the owner tonight as they were out of eggplant and he made sure I was happy with a choice of substitution. He also gave me some of the babaghanoush to try since I love the eggplant dish. Everything is well seasoned and delicious. It’s also a cute place inside. They’ve decorated nicely. I highly recommend you try this gem.

The chicken kabob’s were incredible, I will be back whenever I’m in the area. The chicken kabob was well marinated, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I wish there was more salad because it was refreshing and tasty. The hummus was good and complemented the food. If they had something notably spicy to add to this plate, it would be a 10/10 for me. I appreciated the flavor of the lamb kabob, not gamey and very soft, no knife necessary. The service was great as well. I hope to go back soon! Next time I will get the lamb/chicken combo plate, falafel, and baklava.

Great for a laid-back meal or casual catch-up. We tried the Beef Quesadilla, Chicken Kabob, and Lamb Wrap. All were tasty and well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and balanced seasoning. The menu is quite limited, but that actually made it easier to decide no overwhelming choices. The only downside was the long wait time for our food, which felt a bit excessive considering the simple menu. On the plus side, pricing is reasonable, making it a solid option for a casual Mediterranean meal. Would recommend if you’re not in a rush and want a calm dining experience with good flavors.
