La Cocina Mexican Restaurant Mebane

Great atmosphere, but the Beef bowl i had lacked flavor. Needed seasoning or a good sauce to tie it all together. I didnt get an drinks but the menu and bar looked good. If I was in the area I would give them another try.

Higher prices (most meals are nearly $20 before drink) higher quality food and fast service. Can't afford to come here often but it was enjoyable. Pictured is the half-size acp texano (about $16) with a tortilla chip and salsa cup for size reference.

We had the most amazing, authentic, tasty, food & wonderfully great service! Our server was so cool, patient, kind, funny & made sure our food and service was on point at all times. Definitely can't wait to come back for another visit. I didn't get very many or good pictures because we were so hungry we dove right into the food but I promise you, you won't be disappointed. They also have the good ice! If you know, you know lol.

Pop back in for dinner tonight, restaurant was not that busy. Waiter took our order, was back in about 4 minutes with our food. My ACP chicken cheese and rice, was Cold on the plate, cheese not melted and the chicken tasted like dry crockpot chicken. That had been thrown on the grill for 30 seconds. Our waiter called the manager over to fix me another. It was hot, but the chicken was from a crockpot. I'm not going back, with a 75.00 bill I'm done A little pricey 😕

This is a really good Mexican restaurant. The chips are on the thicker side and I prefer them thinner, but they are fresh and good to munch on while waiting for our food I had ordered the burrito mexicano, not realizing how huge it was going to be. It was delicious but far more than I could eat. We would have shared that one meal if I had known. In comparison my husband's meal seemed small, -he did have the choice of one or two Quesadilla La Cocina and chose one and it was plenty, and it also was delicious. The service was also extremely fast both with taking our order and bringing us our food. We have been here several times and will definitely return to this restaurant.
