La Caverna Bar & Grill

The pupusas and tacos were really good!! The fried red snapper had a good flavor, but it was just slightly overcooked. I would definitely order all of these items again but would try to communicate for them to shorten the cook time on the snapper. Hopefully, you speak a little Spanish or bring your phone to translate.

The food and drinks here were impeccable. I had the chori pollo and the nachos supreme. They were just as good the second day. I also had their michelada with Victoria and pineapple buchanas with cranberry. The drinks tasted great, especially the michelada. I only ate here once but I enjoyed my experience. The food took a little long to come out, especially since there were not really any other customers around. But it makes sense because the quality was probably some of the best Mexican food I've had.

Came here because my boyfriend used to go here when he lived in the neighborhood. I dunno if it’s changed owners or what, but it’s awful now. The salsa and chips tasted expired, the main food took forever, and was not good. To top it off, they turned lasers on when we got our food that flashed right into our eyes and was blinding. That was the final straw, so I got up to ask for to go boxes… when I started walking to the front to pay and get the boxes, I got cat called by some guy. I should’ve known when we walked in and he said it looked so different. And I 1000% should’ve known when everyone else who walked in, turned around and left without a word.

I search for hole in the wall type of places and this one doesn't disappoint. I ordered the pupusa revuelta and the chicken breast meal. It was delicious. Slow during lunch and the service was great. It a must if you are in the area!!

I was staying in the Dumfries area looking for Latin food in this area, I found this place near the hotel, the pupusas and fried yuca were great, everything feels fresh, very good vibes, very friendly! I recommend it.
