La Cabañita Mex

This restaurant has slowly become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Ketchum. The flavor of the food is great. It’s affordable. And the restaurant has an old school, no frills, throw back vibe. And it’s super busy. Posting menu photos because I needed them earlier and couldn’t find them!

The best Mexican food. I love the laid back atmosphere. If you're uptight DON'T COME. They use their bare hands to put the crispy tortillas in the baskets and yes it does make them taste better. The building has no Feng shui and I live for it. Like Cyndi Lauper says I will be here, "time after time" and be happily satisfied everytime. Gracias a thousand times for a great hole in the wall❤️💓👋🤗✌🏼😌 AND the first place in this mountain town that actually has Dr. Pepper that tastes like they use real soda syrup and not essence of Dr. Pepper. Stopped in here last minute. Found a very friendly staff and the food was great! I live in San Antonio and frequent many Mexican food restaurants. This one is now ranked in the top of my list!

Pretty authentic Mexican food and good prices! Their chips and salsa were fantastic and also came with complimentary beans for dipping as well. The food was well put together, and their salsa is on point! Overall, it is a very good dining experience, especially if you are looking for affordable but good food in Ketchum. In the end , me and my date only spent $35 combined for two big combo plates, two drinks with refills, and extra bowls of sour cream and guacamole on the side.
