Customer Reviews
Incredible food, everything from the empanadas and wagyu picanha to the profiterole was delicious. The staff and hostesses were very welcoming, and our waiters were highly attentive. I was surprised by the negative service reviews; while dinner rushes might be different, our daytime experience was outstanding. The food was fresh, light, and offered a perfect balance of simple, homemade ingredients. Definitely worth it!
La Boca by Francis Mallmann is a beautiful Argentinian restaurant tucked inside a luxury hotel, and it delivers a refined yet approachable brunch experience that feels perfect for celebrations, date nights, or a relaxed upscale meal. We started with the beef empanada, which was golden, flaky, and deeply savory. The filling was well-seasoned and comforting without being heavy — a great way to open the meal. For mains, the standout dish was absolutely the Wagyu Picanha. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The dish came with crispy broken potatoes, Parmigiano Reggiano, a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg, and vibrant chimichurri. Every element worked together beautifully — rich, savory, fresh, and balanced. Each bite felt layered and intentional, making this a must-ord
I was honestly surprised to see the low overall rating, because my experience here was the complete opposite. The food was perfect — fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered came out exactly as expected and tasted great. The atmosphere was very pleasant: calm, comfortable, and ideal whether you’re coming for a relaxed meal or a longer evening. On top of that, the staff was extremely polite and attentive, always checking in without being intrusive. Everyone can have an off day, but based on my visit, this place definitely deserves more credit than it’s getting. I’d absolutely come back and recommend giving it a fair chance instead of relying only on the rating.
Went during opening week, had a little trouble finding the entrance before realizing it's inside the Faena hotel. A 5 star hotel with $1.5K rooms must of course be paired with a high end restaurant, as the immediate area is a bit sparse in fine dining options. The space is definitely luxurious, red velvet seats, marble tables, large chandilers with enough lighting to see the food. A live band set the mood for a portion of the meat, apparently some of the hotel owner/execs were having an event at the back, had a nice conservation regarding the place. Definitely a place to dress and impress, which some of the dapper dinings did, friend was not happy about the no hats policy. Ordered some apps, the empanadas weren't that memorable, artichoke is crispy and tasty. For main got the beef tender
Excellent experience at La Boca. Our server, Ana Maria, was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely warm. The entire staff, from the host and coat check to management and food runners, was welcoming and professional. We started with the Cheese Empanada, Burrata, Beet Carpaccio, and Crispy Artichokes—all beautifully prepared and flavorful. I had the Branzino for my main, which was perfectly cooked. We splurged on dessert (it’s still the holiday season, right?) and had no regrets: Profiteroles, Apple Tarte Tatin, Chocolate Cake, and Orange Cake—each one deliciously decadent. The live tango music added great energy without being too loud. Wonderful food, great service, and a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.
