La Bistro

My dad and I went here for dinner a few days ago for the second time, and we really enjoyed it. The food was well-cooked, I got one of the specials, which was a fall-themed ravioli. It was perfect—neither too heavy nor too light —and the sauce was just incredible. The dessert was incredible, and I loved how everything was freshly baked. I would recommend sharing desserts as each serving is huge! The service was nothing special, but they were nice enough. However, everybody there was kid-friendly! I loved the atmosphere; it felt like you were in a small yet beautiful Parisian restaurant! There was dimmer lighting, creating an intimate and more relaxed atmosphere. I have been wanted to try this restaurant for couple months! I went today for my sisters birthday and it was delicious. 🤤 I ordered the steak au povre comes with fries and a side of salad ( I would say lettuce salad that didn’t have any dressing or salt or anything. I can say it was 9/10. My sis tried the short ribs and mash potatoes and was super delicious. They have refreshing cocktails and were great. Dessert 10/10. Service very friendly. I do recommend this restaurant. I’ll be visiting again soon. Also make reservation because was full almost the whole Time I was eating.

A total favourite in the neighbourhood - cheeseburger is 100% a go to as well as the pot roast ragu. Surprise this morning was this super fluffy pancake, fresh, full of flavor (this is after all the all star Lady Wong team!) Thanks for setting up in cos cob guys!

Wonderful addition to the Cos Cob dining scene! My favorite is their fusilli giganti a la vodka. At the time of this review is posted they’re offering BYOB until their liquor license arrives. Their desserts are an absolutely must-have! I’ll be back to try more items off the menu!

Fantastic meal! There was one complaint that was promptly taken care of with the soup. Great food and service. I would definitely go back....
