Cos Cob Library

Visiting what had been our “home” library for many years. The terminated space is stunning. But overall the interior is bland and not inviting. And I am extremely disappointed that the bricks outside were not mapped and relaid in the original location. I’m very displeased where our goldbrick ended up - next to a trash can. I’d order that it be out back where Ute belongs in the main walkway.

Good staff, well organized programs for children! Children friendly space and books.

If you're going to Cos Cob for a quiet library - take a pass. There is no "hushed conversation." The librarians are louder than the kids! But, they are all helpful, which is why the 4 stars.

I love this place. It's a gem--my kids grew up coming here. Their programs are delightful and educational, their staff knowledgable and kind. A Cos Cob treasure.
