LA ANTIGUA RESTAURANT & PANADERÍA

I went there last night and I was debating whether to write a review or not, but I think my experience should be shared. I was excited to go because I am happy to support a local Hispanic business. The restaurant is clean. It’s very pretty. The staff is very friendly and the service was great, but the food was not really good. My plate had. steak and the steak didn’t even look real. It was the weirdest meat I’ve ever seen. The rice was good. The refried beans were good. We ordered a margarita It tasted like lemonade we have to buy a shot of tequila. They charged me an extra seven dollars so that it could at least taste like a margarita. All of this cost me $80 today I went to Ruby Tuesday in Charlotte. I had a great meal. I had a great Margarita and I even have lunch for tomorrow all for $

If you want to eat an authentic Guatemalan dish, this is the place to go! The food is up to par, they have great customer service, the music is very welcoming, it feels like you're in Guatemala yourself, lol. The owner is very friendly always looking for ways to serve you and your needs. Plus, they have Guatemalan sweet bread -- you can enjoy with a cup of coffee. I would highly recommend this place! 🇬🇹😋

Family owned Restaurant, definitely my type of place! They serve breakfast all day long. This place has great variety of food to try. It is always good to try something different and experience a different culture. Stop by and check them out

My wife came with my two daughters and they said they had a very good experience at this place They felt welcome, and loved their food and hospitality. *Updated Review* January 6, 2025 We were invited back by the owner to experience the exciting changes made to the restaurant, and I am happy to say it was a complete turnaround from my previous visit. It is clear that these updates have made a big difference. Starting with the exterior, the restaurant now boasts a fresh coat of paint and a new entry arch, giving it a clean and welcoming look. Inside, they have removed the buffet to add more tables, creating a more spacious and modern feel. There is also a new bar area where guests can enjoy drinks while watching games on the TVs. The tabletops have been updated, and the décor beautifully complements the murals, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.
