I usually get the kalbi and chicken katsu half and half, and it is consistently solid every time. The portions are filling, the kalbi is flavorful, and the katsu is crispy and reliable. It is one of those comfort meals where I know exactly what to expect. Parking can be somewhat difficult since the lot is shared with In-N-Out, which gets busy quickly, especially during peak hours. I almost always order ahead, so the wait time is reasonable and pickup is smooth. The ambiance is just okay. It is casual and functional, nothing special. The cashiers are fine, not overly friendly but not rude, and service is straightforward. I keep coming back because it is consistent, filling, and a good value for the price. It is not a destination spot, but it is a dependable go-to when I am craving kalbi,

My go to Hawaiian plate place! The women are always so friendly and enjoy the little chats with them. It’s nice when they remember you and even your order! The chicken katsu is always crispy and made fresh. The mixed bbq plate as well it’s so tasty!

The cashier was so sweet…. BUT the food was a complete 0/10 . Rice is so easy to cook but they missed the mark , the Mac Salad no flavor , the protein no flavor AT ALL, I had teriyaki chicken and Katsu (fried chicken breast). I wouldn’t eat here again at all. I’ve had Hawaiian food before so I know it could be better. But the portion size was incredible , they def give a lot. A lot of tasteless food lol.

I always come to this one because their food is always fresh and their portions are huge. I recommend this spot 💯

Came here for a late lunch and ordered thr katsu bowl ($8.95+tax) and the bbq traditional combo ($15.45+tax) - pretty good value for the price! The katsu was fried quite well for a fast food place - crispy outside, and not too dry inside. The sauce that came with it was tasty as well. The bbq combo had one kalbi rib, 3 pieces of bbq chicken and several large slices of thin beef- everything was seasoned thoroughly. The thin beef was a little dry, but still tasted pretty decent. There was rice and macaroni salad and some lettuce on the side as well. This is a great meatlover’s dish!
