Kuumba Coffee

This cafe feels like stepping into New Orleans. There is a large nod to black culture and excellence with a book wall dedicated to authors and artists of color. The coffee and pastries were good and this place has a large sitting room. 9/10 recommend and Steph approved!

Kuumba Coffee in Douglasville is a gem! I ordered the Peach Cobbler Latte and the Turkey Avocado Breakfast Sandwich, both were absolutely delicious and made fresh. My husband had the Iced Ginger Lemon Tea along with the same sandwich, and he loved it just as much as I did. The service was great, friendly, and welcoming. The staff made our visit extra special with their warm hospitality. Will definitely be back soon. ♥️

Every time I come in it’s a friendly family environment welcoming and genuine. A great place to study, do work, write or just chill and sip some great coffee options. Will recommend 10/10 EVERY TIME!!! Even had my very first shot of espresso here.

my experience here at Kuumba Coffee was amazing. the atmosphere is so clean, welcoming, and relaxing. they play music, softly which was a vibe. my sister and i were able to bible study as we ate out breakfast. we both ordered the breakfast sandwich (mine on a bagel) and it was pretty good. i tried the lavender vanilla latte and it was BOMB! i've never had a lavender drink so it definitely did its duty. the drink was so smooth and tasty. 10/10 definitely recommend. *it's also black-owned!!!*

Unique coffee shop. It was inside of a office building-like (supposedly 100 year old) in a suite. Very unique, in a good way. Ordered a coffee and a sandwich. Took them 20 mins. There was only 1 customer ahead of me. Looks like they also ordered food so I thought it took longer because they prepared everything from scratch but NOPE! It was store bought patties which was all dried up. I think it was leftover from day before and it was microwaved. That turkey Patti could not have been made right then. Anyways, food was so yucky I wanted to vomit. But at least the staffs were sweet, coffee was great, the atmosphere was unique and cozy. Just definitely DO NOT ORDER FOOD.
