Jewel Treats & More is an absolute 10 out of 10 every time. This bakery consistently delivers in flavor, quality, and customer experience. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy — I’m always greeted with genuine enthusiasm and smiling faces from their staff. It brings me so much pride to have such an incredible Black-owned business right here in the community. I first visited out of curiosity and left a devoted fan after trying the cinnamon roll pound cake slice. That one slice turned into many — red velvet, blueberry key lime, strawberry pound, and of course the viral cream cheese pound cake. Each one was phenomenal. Beyond the desserts themselves, you can feel the passion in the kitchen. Ms. Tina and her team pour love, care, and joy into everything they bake —

Let me just say that I've been trying to get back to this place for a couple months now, but they're closed on my OFF DAYS and usually sell out before I can make it to Douglasville. Terrible. lol The one time I made it 15-20 min before closing, I bought the last cinnamon roll cream cheese pound cake slice and a cookie. They gifted us a slice of caramel pound cake, since it was too small to sell. And omggg. It was so good, y'all. Both slices were so fluffy & soft but dense as a cream cheese pound cake should be. It was definitely sweet, so if you shouldn't be eating sugar, be careful. I know my limits. LOL The crunch from the caramel on that caramel slice was heavenly!! And the cinnamon roll slice was everything I thought it would be- a legitimate cinnamon roll flavor within each bite. Mmm

I visited while in town and was genuinely looking forward to trying this bakery, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The customer service was cold and unwelcoming from the start. I even mentioned that I had traveled from out of state and was excited to try the bakery, and there was no acknowledgment, engagement, or basic hospitality. It felt dismissive and indifferent. I ordered the sweet potato pecan caramel cake. The flavor combination sounded rich and indulgent, but the cake was dry, brittle, and lacked depth of flavor. It was not fresh-tasting, and for a specialty bakery item, it did not meet expectations at all. Between the poor service and the quality of the cake, this was not a positive experience, and I would not return.

The aroma from the baked goods was intoxicating. I decided on cupcakes to taste test the flavors. Several flavors I wanted were not available, so I purchased key lime and strawberry. I was disappointed in the size of the cupcakes. They were minis, compared to the sizes at other establishments. While they were small in size, they made up for it in flavor. Hopefully they will start to use larger cupcake baking trays. I'll return to try the cake.

The experience at this business yesterday was top tier!! The ladies were very nice!!! The pound cake slices were amazing I will be the next time a visit GA.
