Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki North Park

I came to eat here during lunchtime, and I was seated very quickly. My server was very attentive and very friendly. She got my order right in. The food was delicious! I ordered the chiles torreados, and they were on point! Usually at the other locations, they only serve them in the lemon soy so this was definitely nice to have these again.

I’ve visited this location previously and I enjoyed my lunch. Today, I walked in and was seated at the bar. The bar had a stench which I didn’t enjoy and deterred me from ordering a drink. I placed my order and not long after I saw gnats. The bar was just really messy behind the counter. I was looking out the window and thought to myself, those glasses sure look dirty. Glass were stacked against the window in rows. The server brought out my soup and I pick up my spoon to use…it was dirty. I then, checked my fork…dirty. I grabbed the silverware next to my area. Dirty. I asked for plastic ware…they said they didn’t have any. So they made sure to bring me a clean spoon. My soup was cold but so I didn’t have much of it. I picked up my glass to have a drink of water….lipstick was on my glass!!!

We ate here on MLK day 2026 since I was off work. Got great service from Brittany! The food was excellent. After my 10k run this meal hit the spot!

Absolutely unacceptable service. The bartender sat on his phone watching anime instead of doing his job. Servers had to repeatedly yell his name just to get him to make drinks. It was embarrassing to watch and completely unprofessional. On top of that, I was charged $10 for a rail Kentucky bourbon while Tito’s was $8. The manager’s explanation? They “don’t have a button for it,” so they just charged $10. That’s not how pricing works. Poor service and questionable management decisions. We won’t be back.

Juan s was honestly one of the best servers I’ve had. From the moment we sat down, he was welcoming, attentive, and super professional. He made sure our drinks stayed full, checked in at the perfect times (without hovering), and had great recommendations from the menu. What really stood out was his attitude. he stayed positive and friendly the whole time, even when it got busy. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving good service. If you get Juan as your server, you’re in good hands. He definitely made the experience better.
