Blu brasserie is a MUST for fine dining in McAllen! You definitely don’t feel like you’re in the valley at this place. Blu is warm and welcoming and their staff is on another level. This place is WORTH EVERY PENNY. Milton was our server and was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what wine to serve us when letting him know what we were looking for. Fernando stopped by and explained the process of how the food is meticulously prepared and where it originated from. The attention to detail with every plate shows & speaks the passion that is behind the scenes. This is a hidden gem that you MUST TRY NOW!

Blu Brasserie is an absolute gem and easily a 5-star experience. The food is exceptional, creative, beautifully executed, and far beyond anything else you’ll find in McAllen. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, and you can really tell there’s serious talent and passion in the kitchen. The wine list is spot on, and the owner, Fernando Rocha, clearly knows his wine. Once the challenge of finding this place inside the Mercado District we were very pleasantly surprised. We were greeted ave seated immediately. We had an very friendly and helpful server. The atmosphere is wonderful. The food we ordered was amazing with the exception of the mushroom risotto, slightly overcooked and a bit bland. The other 3 entrees and appetizer was great. Large selection of very good wines. This is a no tipping establishment. A 12% service fee is automatically applied, but service and food was worth more. Highly recommend and we will be adding this to our places to frequent.

Amazing hidden gem in the heart of McAllen! Milton was superb and the whole team deserve all the stars in the world! The food and presentation was outstanding, the wines delicious. This is now my favorite place in town.

Exceptional wine selection! Grateful for this new spot in McAllen. Absolutely delicious. Wonderful for business meetings or intimate gathering where you want to have a conversation and hear each other. Stunning interior. Old world meets new Venetian deconstructed chandelier is an interior highlight.
