KUMO SUSHI &HIBACHI

The sushi here is outstanding, with each dish fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Customer service is friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is very clean and also offers pleasant outdoor seating. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious sushi and excellent service.

My in-laws spoke highly of this restaurant as they visit it once a month. This was my first time visiting this sushi and Hibachi restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the entire staff. The restaurant was spotless and well-kept, which immediately made a great impression. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food arrived quickly and did not disappoint everything was delicious — the chicken teriyaki was flavorful, the shrimp tempura roll was delicious, and the shrimp hibachi is definitely a must-try! Very sweet servers here who do their best to accommodate, even when really busy. The hibachi didn’t seem fresh today. The fried rice is more like steamed rice with soy sauce and egg mixed in. I ordered scallop hibachi and what I received was not real scallops. I questioned the server and she said they were real. She was so cute to bring bag out to show me and professed again that what they serve are real scallops. I pointed out to her ingredients on bag. It was pressed fish gelatin! Anyway, she was sweet to remove my meal from ticket. Bento boxes much better here than hibachi. Hibachi is made in kitchen, so don’t expect spatulas whirling around and other standard hibachi table tricks. If you want this, go to VKI in Lake Sumter, which is still our choice in the area. I cannot say how lovely it is to eat at this restaurant. I take my family here multiple times a month not just because the food is delicious and affordable but also because the service here is hands down the best i have ever experienced. Very accommodating and also friendly to those of all ages! I recommend this to everyone who loves to eat and have good conversation. The music is not too loud or quiet either!
