Kumo Sushi

This was our first visit to this sushi spot on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We were looking forward to something fresh and flavorful, but the experience was mixed. The miso soup was serviceable, and the edamame came out hot and lightly salted, which hit the mark. The sushi, however, fell short. We tried the spicy tuna roll and the yellowtail jalapeño roll—both lacked flavor and finesse in preparation. Honestly, without the jalapeño, there wouldn’t have been much taste at all. Reading the other glowing reviews, it seems we either caught them at a particularly bad hour, or our idea of quality sushi is very different from theirs.

Kumo Sushi is one of those places that flies under the radar but delivers every time. The fish is fresh, portions are generous, and the vibe is laid-back without being sloppy. I tried the spicy tuna, dragon roll, and miso soup—everything came out fast and tasted clean. Nothing super fancy, but if you're craving good sushi without the fuss, Kumo's a safe bet. Would definitely go back.

Had a great time dining at Kumo Sushi! I tried the ramen and it was comforting, flavorful, and well-prepared — a really satisfying bowl. But the real star here is the sushi — absolutely fantastic! Fresh, well-crafted, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it truly makes the whole experience even better. If you’re someone who loves good sushi or wants to try it for the first time, Kumo Sushi is definitely worth a visit. Truly an experience you’ll enjoy!

Dined at this spot several times in the past and ordered for delivery many times as well. We went back last night and was very happy with our order. Had several maki rolls and they were also very good. Good service, nice atmosphere! Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back .
