Skip The Wharf and don't fall for the hype out there for chimney cakes—instead, come here! I highly recommend this location as they are open earlier and offer much more than just dessert. They offer some of the best sandwiches I've tried in my life. They have a large variety of chimney cakes and breads for their sandwiches. I asked for a recommendation and was told either the Reuben (limited time), the Italian, or the Hungarian sandwich. I went with the Italian (per the worker's suggestion), and I highly recommend it!

A real gem in the Herndon community. Mainly all about the sweets, but they do have delicious sandwiches and soups. First time I have had a chimney cake with ice cream inside. Free parking. Business not far from Herndon Post Office. I shall return! 😋

Oh my gosh, I’m so lucky to have come across Twisted Sweets & Savory all after I took my exam! I love how freshly made the bread is and how there are so many good options to choose from. Not to mention that I love that the shop sells Hungarian paprika. It’s hard to find in my area. If it wasn’t for Twisted Sweets, I never would have known how tasty Hungarian food is. I hope to take my boyfriend here one day. He loves trying new foods.

This is truly a gem in Herndon! Whether you are in the mood for a savory sandwich or a sweet treat, there is something for everyone! I love the turkey on everything bagel chimney (pictured) but they have so many combinations that I plan to try! Make sure to stop by, you’ll be happy you did!

Love this place so much. It sucks with the rents being what they are and food costs that they have to charge that much for a sandwich but I get it. The food is always a wow. That first bite with veggies that feel just peak fresh just makes me do a happy dance every time. The chimney bread is just perfect. I hope their keep doing well but never expand to where the quality goes down etc .
