Kumo Sushi and Lounge New City

We went for there for my son’s birthday. We reserved a hibachi table. Place is very spacious and nicely decorated. Greeting was a bit confused, the place was empty and they had trouble finding our reservation. The hibachi show was nothing special and seemed rushed. Food was excellent. Maybe the chef had an off nite.

The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly, can be anywhere from business casual to totally casual, which goes a long way. For the sushi lover who is picky about the freshness of the fish, you have nothing to worry about. For those looking for hard to find menu choices, this place brings in rare items on occasion as well as quality rolls and presentation. If you're concerned you'll only find cheap hot sake, put your fears to rest. Staff is well trained and makes one feel welcomed, so if you like sushi or want to try it for the first time, this is a quality choice.

Hibachi is a lot of fun and their food and drinks are really good! The atmosphere and design are really nice as well. We go frequently for date night and birthdays with friends.

Kumo boasts delightful Asian fare, from flavorful pho to the freshest sushi in town. While the food shines, service could use a boost. Nevertheless, it remains a top pick for a satisfying meal.

It's a very chill vibe. Went here for a date, and the service was great. Sushi was amazing. They do have the hibachi, but we went just for the regular sushi sit down.
