Do you ever just know by the way people greet you that it’s going to be the most amazing meal you’ve ever had? That’s this place. 🦋💜🦋💜
The smell of the ribs cooking on the grill is so AMAZING!! You can’t help but stop. We always get ribs they’re so good even without sauce, but their sauce is delicious so we buy it by the bottle! The people are so sweet and the spirit there is always great!! So glad they’re here in Quincy!! ❤️❤️
Super nice people deliver high quality BBQ and southern fare. BBQ Rib tips are very good, oven baked oxtails are delicious, collards are so good made with generous decadent salt pork chunks, potato salad is savory and far above average. Very generous portions come with 2 sides, cornbread and white sandwich slices. This place and these folks make Quincy FL a much better place to live, this is a cultural icon. Enjoy.
Stopped by for a mid afternoon lunch after driving by multiple times. Glad I did! The gentleman in front of me ordered a rib dinner, so I followed his suggestion. Fall off the bone ribs, sweet BBQ sauce, side of greens and Mac and cheese, cornbread and a piece of cake. The lady at the counter was very sweet. Waited maybe about 10 minutes but listened to jazz and saxophone while I waited and chatted with other customers. Food was out of this world. Be ready for a good nap afterward!
Ribs, baked beans and potato salad were awesome. A bit disappointed when we got home and saw white bread instead of corn bread, which I specifically asked for n was told yes. Plus ordered 2 sweet teas. They were in a bag also, but they were green citrus tea. Neither will drink that. So that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The sweet honey bbq sauce was also delicious.
