KSB African and Caribbean Cuisine catering

Flavor was good but ridiculously expensive for the amount of food you get. I ordered an oxtail dinner plus additional oxtail..after fishing thru the gravy, I only received 6 pcs?! When I called back to make sure they didn’t forget the extra oxtail, the owner said she gave me a lot and the rest of what was in the pot. Not to mention only 4 small pcs of plantain..Not worth the $36.

Usually the food is good but this oxtails was nasty. Taste over cooked and cold. The Drinks were too expensive. The sorrel was great but it's small bottle was not worth it. The malta was not worth the $4.50. Serious over charge. Go to the grocery store. You can get it for $1.00. I love my people and will support especially if the food is great. But when you try to hustle and over charge me, I can no longer support and dont have respect.

I came across this restaurant when looking for authentic Caribbean and African cuisine and this restaurant delivered! I ordered their jerk chicken and oxtails and my husband ordered the curry chicken. The proportions are great and we had food for two days! The spice on the jerk chicken was phenomenal and it has been a while since I had jerk chicken with that spice! Definitely a restaurant to try and fall in love with! Staff is friendly, service was fast, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I loved the music they had playing and the decor is beautiful. I will be coming back to try their African dishes!

The young man who I interacted with on the phone and when waiting to receive my meal (short wait for a carry-out place) was very pleasant and attentive. The food quality was a little lacking given the price I was paying though. I ordered the Jerk Chicken. The chicken, while blackened quite a bit, was kinda bland and not at all juicy and flavorful like it should be. The mac & cheese, cabbage, and rice & peas combo I had below the chicken were pretty good when mixed together though, and they do give you a real decent portion size.

My boyfriend and I stopped at KSB yesterday after checking the wait for another popular restaurant in the area. We decided to take a gamble since neither of us had ever been here and I'm glad we did!!!! We had the goat platter with rice n peas and plantain, smoke turkey egusi soup and goat peanut soup with 2 fufu to share. The drinks are pricey and smaller, but everything else was to be expected cost wise. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious!!!!! We chose to sit down and even though it's a takeout spot the cashier was very welcoming and continued to check on us and even brought out our containers as they were cooked, restaurant style. Genuinely some of the most tender goat I've ever had 🥹 and the best egusi I've tasted too. We made it in the day before their last day of takeou
