Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Grabbed 4 to take home, the staff was fast and friendly. All the staff were masked which was appreciated. Our desserts tasted great as well, my personal favorite being the chocolate custard blended with black cherry ice, Misto.

I was really disappointed with my treatment at Rita’s. I have been going to Rita’s for years and I have never experienced such embarrassment. I went with my 3 children my 3 year old daughter, 10 year old son, and 16 year old. I asked the girl . If she could pass me one of the custards for my daughter and she said they can’t give out the items until it is paid for. Typically when I go. They hand the items out to the kids as they make them. I literally watched the customer in front of me enjoy his ice cream while his father waited to get his made and then pay for it once his came out. I don’t think my appearance gives the impression that I’m going to run off with ice cream with 3 children. Then she said it loud and proud while I watched other customers eat their custard, or ice. Hello. The staff was kind, price reasonable. It just would have been great had they had more than one sugar free flavor ice.

It was the first day of Spring! The line was smooth and efficient . Nice location as it was our first time there.

Fast service, however customers have to ask for napkins. Also, a little too light on the custard (please see the attached picture). Maybe it’s me, but I’m used to the custard filling the entire top of the gelati. Overall the taste of the custard and Italian ice is great.
