Krispy Kreme

When they have wet floor signs up NOT because the floors are wet but because they are so covered in grease/oil its more like an ice skating rink...bad news. This place has a lot of work to do before I will ever return. Dirty.

How can you not stop when the hot sign is on lol. I love Krispy Kreme and the service is always top tier. I love that they now have donuts of the month. The atmosphere is always nice and clean.

So...I love this Krispy Kreme location, I love their staff, they are courteous hospitable and very efficient. My three star rating for service is directed at crispy kreme Corporate for removing lemon filled donuts and blueberry cake donuts. I understand KK removed these as a "rebranding effort" and plan to allow them back on the menu at limited times. That was the number two selling donut at this location. Whose genius idea was it to remove the number two Selling donut and expect it to be a positive thing? Bring back lemon filled!!!

We tried three separate times over the weekend to stop in and pick up donuts for our son’s birthday. Each time, the lobby was closed despite the display case being fully stocked and multiple employees visible inside. Today, while driving past the drive-thru, I was met with a distinctly unfriendly attitude from the employee at the window, which was the final nudge to take our business elsewhere. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect a business to appear open, welcoming, and interested in serving customers. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. We ended up going to Dunkin instead—not our first choice, but at least they seemed to want the business.

I rarely ever write a review. But their website was not allowing pickup or delivery they last several days I have checked. We live in Mt Pleasant so no assumed they must just not deliver that far anymore. So we drive all the way from Mt Pleasant at 9:00 am to get donuts for my daughters class birthday treat (her only request) only to be told they were completely out of glazed, only 4 left in the whole shop…even the minis. How does this happen at a donut shop?! But ok sure…maybe there was a rush? So we said we would just wait for them to make some. They said it will be TWO HOURS?! Two hours for a donut shop to make 2 dozen donuts?! It’s such a shame Dunkin’s are not as good because they need no notice (as no other donut shop I have ever been to needs).
