This place is so good, I would want to Gatekeep it! But our server Josh was absolutely amazing and deserves the credit for his exceptional service, attention to detail, menu recommendation and just overall added to a great dinner evening. Now to the food, absolutely delicious! I was so busy digging in, I forgot to take pics of everything I ordered! Can't wait to be back!

Matt the owner is a sweetheart. Made my mom’s birthday brilliant. Everyone’s on top of service. Ahmet, Josh and others were amazing. And Rajah was an awesome bartender. All the drinks were super yummy. *** my grandparents are older and have a hard time using technology and they were super chill about them not being able to order online and we’re able to adjust for them. It’s expected to spend money on the water so it was a little pricey but worth it! Made her birthday great ❤️

We both ordered drinks (rum punch, and martini flight) drinks were great. Off to a great start, we shared the calamari app and both ordered a lobster dinner based off the amount of others we saw enjoying it. And that's when everything went downhill. The calamari was chewy but had good flavor, everything in my pot (corn, potatoes, sausage, clams and mussels) wae so old and over cooked, and the juice at the bottom was flavorless, I was holding out hopes for the lobster...how do you kill a 2lb lobster as a beachside ocean front restaurant?? The claw meat was dry and almost gritty, the tail was stringy and tough and I felt like a dog chewing on a bone trying to chew through it. Food was adequate, and tasty though portions were small. a bit disappointed that it seems like they nickel and dime you here. there's a lovely portion of the beach out front where they have cabanas, but you need to pay in excess of a $100 to sit there on top of paying for food and drinks also you're required to pay 20% ( but so it makes you wonder if says a staff actually has an incentive to work hard.) which is a big turn off. Outside setting hqs dirty sand, we were asked to move because of the bees.. Service was friendly but slow. Drinks were good, we were able to modify off to drink menu with no problem. It's one of only 2 places on Sound View so I guess it tracks.... over all 3 stars

I visited this venue on August 2, 2025, to celebrate my birthday. I almost chose not to go due to the numerous negative reviews and the 3.9-star rating it received from customers. However, I felt drawn to it because it had the kind of atmosphere I wanted for my special day, and I'm glad I made the decision to visit. There were four of us, and we had a fantastic time. The food was excellent, and the customer service was exceptional; our waitress was wonderful. At times, I felt as if I were truly on an island. I had a great time at the beach, which I found to be very clean. I never imagined I would visit a beach in Connecticut, but the water was pristine.
