Kofenya

The drink sucks dude! I ordered decaf latte and it never tasted so bad in my life. Then I asked to switch to another drink, they gave me a matcha latte. Again, never had one taste this bad. I think it’s just bad beans and too much water but this cafe needs to taste their own drink they are making.

I got an everything bagel with cream cheese, and an iced americano with pumpkin syrup. You have to toast your own bagels, there’s a toaster on the right side of the counter. Unfortunately, they were out of plastic knives, so I used a spoon to spread the cream cheese. Overall, it was delicious and very convenient. Total for a coffee + syrup and a bagel was only $6.39! I didn’t know they made prices like that anymore

Kofenya is easily the most overrated shop in Oxford. They have great coffee and a great selection. Their food on the other hand is very limited and very inconsistent in portion sizes. UPDATE Their breakfast burritos are so salty. Like insanely salty where you get uncomfortable.

Nice alternative to Starbucks, and this place is located on the main drag downtown near all the other shops and the small park area. They have sidewalk seating which is great on nice days. Prices are as expected, many flavors to choose from, and great tasting drinks. The staff is fast and helpful. Usually full of the local college kids, hanging out or studying. Nice place to go for a tasty drink and to relax for a bit.

Service is fantastic every single time. Coffee is well made and there are lots of options. They also have every type of milk you may want. The atmosphere is cozy and great for a date or studying.
