We loved every bite! KJUN was outstanding!

Kjun is the best restaurant in Murray Hill, and the new location showcases unique fine dining from Chef Jae Jung's Korean meets Cajun meals.

Every dish full of sugar: egg appetizer, salad, meat dish. The second notable flavor was the chili, which is fine with me. There were no other flavors. Never in my life have I had such a bland and dissatisfying meal.

I was left so disappointed from this meal that I am writing my first ever review. To preface, I had been looking forward to eating at KJUN for months now. When I made the reservation via Google on the original location’s listing, I did not know they had opened a second location just one block away and that the reservation would be for the new location. I will admit that was an oversight on my part as I should have double checked, but it would be easy to assume that the reservation one is making would be for the restaurant linked to the booking service. For such a new location and it being so close to the original restaurant, they also did not clarify, on entry, that this was our intended destination and that a set menu was all that was offered. This location only offers a set menu for $7

Chef Jae Jung is one of the most talented chefs in all NYC. The food at the new KJUN location is to die for. I had had the famous fried chicken dish, and okra kimchi at the other location and couldn’t wait to dig back in but I was floored by the brisket and grits. What a triumph. Also, Lexy, our mixologist, did not miss.
