Kirkwood Public Library

This is a somewhat nice library, but boy is it old — and it shows. Very strong musty/mildewy smell when you walk in, low ceilings, and overall just a dated look. The staff were friendly and there was a decent selection given the library’s small size, but I’d much rather go to the Grant’s View Branch in Affton.

Kirkwood Public library is honestly one of the best libraries in the city. It is well maintained and has up-to-date facilities. The children’s library is very cute and has excellent selection of books and kits. There are abundant of resources for all age groups. They also have passoport services and a 3D printer for use. Great selection of movies and audiobooks as well. I recommend this library!

This is a fantastic library. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. The old time charm of the building provides a relaxing environment. They have a 3D printer for public use. The computers are in great condition and the Wi-Fi connection is excellent. The video selection is up to date with new releases. The library is conveniently located in downtown Kirkwood with plenty of coffee shop's and restaurants in walking distance. The children's book room is top notch with a huge selection of children's books and other children's media. If they don't have the book you are looking for they can usually order it from other libraries. The bathrooms are always clean and in good working condition. It a wonderful resource for citizens and one of the highlights of Kirkwood.

Nice Establishment. Great event for local Authors

I have visited the Kirkwood Public Library since I was a toddler. It is very dear to me. I am so glad our community has this wonderful library. Thank you, KPL, for EVERYTHING! ❤️
