Britt's Bakehouse: A Gluten-Free Bakery

My family is relatively new to the gluten-free lifestyle, my son being diagnosed with Celiac Disease just a few months ago. I don't have a lot of experience with gluten-free baked goods, so it doesn't feel genuine to say that the cupcakes that we have gotten from Britt's Bakehouse are the best gluten-free cupcakes we've had. I do, however, feel confident in stating that the cupcakes we have gotten from Britt's Bakehouse are among the best cakes of ANY kind, gluten-free or not, that we have ever had. We are so happy to have found them, they made my son's first birthday after his diagnosis not just bearable, but really special. This is a cute bakery. We stopped inside to grab a gift card for a friend that is obsessed with this place. It’s very small inside. We met the owner, she was decently friendly and explained that they are struggling with getting items made this season and they “need a location 3x bigger and much more staff”. Because of this, they were out of a lot of items. They luckily did have gift cards though! We decided to buy a couple bakery items since we were already inside. They were just okay, but we aren’t gluten free, so that may explain why they tasted a bit more chalky than your typical dessert. Not sure, but our family friend loves it!

This is a wonderful gluten-free bakery that also has gluten-free dairy-free options as well. I enjoyed two gf/df cupcakes and a cookie (my Birthday 🥳). Hubby enjoyed the rest of our purchases. This place will be a regular stop on my monthly St Louis commitments. I'd highly recommend this bakery.

I've been gluten-free for 10 years and LOVE Britt's in general, but they made my wedding cake and it couldn't have been better! It was so beautiful, and our favorite was the chocolate cake with caramel buttercream. So thankful for what they do and that I could have a delicious cake at my wedding! I just want the icing, it's so goooood and will prob order a little cake just because!
