This place just got renovated. Took my daughter here after spending the morning together. The people here are fabulous- love to support the business, the food is great with nice presentation and the atmosphere is deceptive at first, but there are private seating areas that are nice.

This place is great for some quick good tasting sushi. When I first arrived, I was confused because you had to go up to the register where the food was, like you would at a self-serve, cafeteria or fast food joint. But you order here and they bring it over to your table, except for a few items that are prepared already, like salad, but they put it in a styrofoam like to go container on a serving tray with chopsticks that you bring yourself to your table. Then when your sushi rolls are ready or anything else that you ordered , they bring it over to your table. If you want drinks , you get them yourself from the fountains. So with this being said , I was a little suspect about what the food would taste like. Thankfully though the food tasted delicious. So if you're not looking for a fine din

I write this review with the purpose of helping the customers, particularly those who frequented this place in the past. Kinja just had a remodel and it resulted in several changes for the worse -- to the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Whereas Kinja used to be sit-down restaurant where you were waited on, you now order your food at the front. Overall, Kinja has been turned into a fast food sushi place (like Grey Whale) -- places which are enjoyable, but certainly cannot replace what Kinja once was. The changes I describe below absolutely torpedo the unique identity Kinja once had in its entirety. First, you no longer receive a free soup and salad at the start. Most importantly, the menu has been slashed, with 80% of the rolls no longer be listed. They now have a 'rotating menu' s

I had an amazing first experience at this local gem thanks to my real estate agent next door, who suggested I try their poke bowls—and wow, she was right. I’m a big fan of Asian-inspired food, and this place delivered in every way. I ordered their puffy poke bowl and one of the appetizers—I think it was called the Heart Attack or Heart Stopper—and both were shockingly good. The quality of the fish and ingredients was outstanding, especially for the price. I honestly don’t know how they’re able to serve such high-quality, fresh poke for less than what national chain restaurants charge for smaller portions and inferior ingredients. The service was friendly, the restaurant was very clean and well-kept, and my food arrived in a respectable amount of time—no long wait at all. Everything about

Was the best sushi in town. So good our canine family member swiped a Sake Toro Nigiri, and it was worth it to drive back and get another order. Then they closed to remodel, but now they are open???? Won’t answer the phone, VERY limited menu to order online. Would give anything to have the old Kinja back.
