Kingston Suites

Kingston Suites is an Airbnb property and is great. We have now stayed here two times and love it. It is waaaay better than the local hotel options because of the price, the amenities, the location, and the customer service. The property was updated about 5 years ago and has everything we needed, from toothpaste to make-up remover to a drip coffee maker (with plenty of coffee), but is also very comfortable so felt like we were at home. ...and free and easy parking which a lot of the hotels no longer have. And owner Michelle goes above and beyond to make sure we don't need anything else. She even had the AC already blowing cold when we arrived, which was particularly nice because it was hot out, we had booked the attic apartment, and we needed a nap in a cool space. Very unique place to stay. Luxurious suites in a Victorian house that you wouldn't expect.

Its a neat old house that has been updated and made into 3 mini suites. Everything is in great shape, loved the beds, huge soaking tub and apparently unlimited hot water! It was clean and well kept and the owners were responsive. Right near downtown Cedar Rapids. I'd stay there anytime.

The lady was completely rude. She expects everyone to know it’s an AirBnB when it isn’t listed as such on here. Asked me who I was instead of being professional and just politely explaining the process of how she could take my money after I told her I was looking for a hotel to stay at close by to where my mother was moving to. When I suggested that it would be helpful if she placed such knowledge on her Google listing, she said “we are getting a website so thank you for the suggestion but goodbye”. Wth kind of customer service is this? SMH. I travel around the US for work and for family things and I come to Cedar Rapids just to be treated like trash by a mislabeled company. Here’s a suggestion, don’t list your personal phone number as a business unless you plan on being professional

We have stayed here many times. It is always exceptional. The decor and amenities are top of the line. The host is very accommodating and willing to help. If you are in the area check into this place. You will have a wonderful stay.
