Kingston Carriage House

I stay here frequently when in town. I really like the spacious and comfortable rooms. Check-in is easy and property is dog friendly. The coffee machine has been out of service for almost a year, but they deliver fresh brew coffee and pastries to the door in the morning.

I’ve stayed at Kingston Carriage House a few times now for solo staycations, and it truly gets better every visit. My favorite rooms so far are the Captain's Loft, Parlour Suite, and Drawing Loft, each one has its own charm and thoughtful details. The complimentary breakfast basket is such a treat, with fresh coffee and pastries from a local bakery. I also love the curated record collection and record players in every room, plus the peaceful courtyard for relaxing.||The location couldn’t be better! Just a short walk to the waterfront, shops, and incredible dining. It’s the perfect balance of history, comfort, and a beautiful neighborhood vibe. Kingston Carriage House feels like such a special hideaway, and I can’t wait for my next stay!

Highly Recommend!!! I consider this THE place to stay in Kingston. "Catskill Contemporary'" decor of the rooms creates a relaxing, upscale and comfortable space all at once. Park your car (or bikes) upon arrival and then set out on foot as all the restaurants, shops and the waterfront of the Rondout neighborhood is right there. If you are biking the Empire Trail, looking for a home base to explore the Hudson Valley and Catskills, or just looking to get away for an extended break from the city, Kingston Carriage House is the place.

We love this place! The self check-in is very convenient. Perfect location to walk to the shops and restaurants on the waterfront. The room was so cozy with the charm of the building's age shining through. Coffee and pastries delivered in the morning was an added treat!! We will return.

Could not be more disappointed with the lack of professionalism, organization, or guest service recovery of this property! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR BOOKING! We booked this property well in advance for an event we've been so excited and looking forward to. We have our email confirmation and were locked in, and very much looking forward to everything. They called and said they signed a contract with a large group of rooms (or something similar like that) and so they FORCED US to NOT stay at this property. Completely unacceptable!
