Customer Reviews
We love their food! We eat there frequently. Service is great, always polite and helpful. Atmosphere is quiet.
My friend recommended this place and the food here is so delicious. I highly recommended the Tikki Masala! It’ll be hard not to stop here every chance I get.
I'm in Ashland visiting family, but I live in London. I'm used to having a ton of options for Indian food - Brick Lane in East London has a plethora of options and even where I live in London I still have half a dozen options within a mile or so. Kings Diner is as good as (perhaps even better than) any of them. I got Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and the Tandoori Pork. They came with rice, soy balls and half a naan bread. We got taken out and decided to mix and match the meals at home (but I was given the option to try a couple of the mains in one order if I wanted - service was lovely and friendly). My photo is a terrible representation of the food...but it was so good. The flavours were so good. The meat was tender and so nicely seasoned. The spice was fairly mild but so flavo
So glad to find this little gem on our road trip from Columbus, Ohio to Asheville, NC. Not far from our route and worth the little trip through Ashland, KY. Surprised to find the diner inside a gas station. Perfect spot for my husband (he likes traditional American food while I enjoy Indian food. His asked if they could make him a grilled ham and cheese and I enjoyed a plate from the Indian Buffet, spiced so well without being too hot.Food was great and staff/service friendly and attentive. Very affordable, seemed like a local favorite for lunch. The homemade carrot cake was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Kings diner is consistently good. The breakfast is made to order and a great value. Large biscuits with eggs and bacon or whatever you like. The gravy is awesome and homemade. The indian food is always great and spiced perfectly. It's not spicy, but spiced. There is a difference and these folks get it right for my KY taste buds. I most recently got the goat curry and it was tender and we'll portioned. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
