Dorky's BBQ

Hidden Gem y’all. Don’t sleep on visiting this restaurant. Everyone in our party of 5 loved their food. My husband and I got the half rack of ribs (which were packed with so much meat and fall off the bone, sticky, sweet flavor 🤤) My sons went with the pork-a-roni-rito and my 16 year old said it slaps. The Mac and cheese was the most flavorful, cheesy, smoky bite. My daughter-in-love went for the pulled chicken sandwich drizzled in their homemade sweet bbq sauce. Even though we were stuffed I’m glad we didn’t skip out on dessert. We tried the banana pudding, apple cobbler à la mode, and brownie à la mode. Everything was perfectly cooked. The decor was so charming. The staff provided excellent service. If you are à BBQ lover you’ll definitely want to check out Dorky Porky.

Pretty good little spot for some BBQ. I especially liked the pulled chicken. Sauce was a little sweet for my taste. Pulled pork, beans and ribs were good. I’d come back. Seemed like a lot of menu stuff was Facebook advertised but not reflected on in store menu. That would make it more streamlined. Owner and staff were friendly. Parking is pretty limited. I’ll be back for some more in the future.

The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing! The restaurant looks unique and very well put together. My husband and I love us a good bbq place so we had to try it. This was our first time going to Dorky’s and we were super excited because we heard it was good. The pulled pork had really good flavor but there was definitely an excessive amount of fat. My husbands sandwich was completely fat and he didn’t hardly touch it. Not sure if we will be back

Hands down one of the best BBQ spots around. I’ve eaten here multiple times now and the food has been consistently amazing every single visit — you can tell it’s made with pride and experience. The owner is there working daily, and it really shows. His competition trophies are all around the place, and after eating here, you understand exactly why he’s earned them. What really sets this place apart though is the hospitality. When I met my military recruiter here to handle enlistment proceedings, the owner took the time to talk with me for a good 20 minutes and had no issue with us sitting there for over 45 minutes while we took care of everything. That kind of respect and welcoming attitude means a lot. Great food, great people, and a real neighborhood gem. I’ll be coming back regularly

I don't remember the last time I had such a great experience at a restaurant! The food was delicious. The ribs were the best I have ever had. The service was incredible! They were so kind to my toddler. They got her a coloring sheet and pushed her chair up to the table. The nice woman working offered to hold my baby while I was eating and proceeded to play with her and bounce her. This warmed my heart. I can't say enough good things about this place! Please stop by and you will not regret it!
