As a frequent visitor of this beautiful beach town we totally enjoyed our recent visit this past weekend. The location of Kings cottage could not be any better. You are seconds away from both the beach and shopping area at a price that is beyond reasonable. The owner Barbara was very attentive and made sure we had coffee to wake up to. The balcony with the ocean views let you enjoy your coffee each morning. Don’t forget to visit George restaurant practically next store for amazing food!! We will be back to Cape May and will be sure to stay at Kings cottage !
My wife and I love Cape May, N.J. One of our favorite places to stay. King's Cottage was a very nice place to stay and right within walking distance of many stores and the beach. The owner is always on staff, and a very nice lady at that. The breakfast was modest, but very enjoyable. The rooms were of adequate size, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice place to stay in.
My wife and I stayed here in June and I had read a few bad reviews but a few more good ones so we took our chances. Barbara was fantastic , she helped us plan before and during our trip and was very accommodating . Kings cottage is not a 5 star B n B but it is very clean and quaint. We loved mrs. Barbara . Bfast is light but there are plenty options close by. Would definitely stay here again.
The King’s Cottage is a great location just steps from the beach and rooms with a balcony like room #2 have a fantastic view. The amenities leave much to be desired and the inn is a bit in need of sprucing up to be able to compete with some of the other B&B’s in Cape May. The breakfast is a nice continental breakfast with homemade fresh muffins. The towels and linens are on the lower scale and not as nice as I would have expected for the price. There were no toiletries in the bathroom so make sure you bring your own mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. This is something that they should provide when spending over $250/night. The TV in the room is a very old 17” box tv, likely won’t matter unless you plan to watch TV at night or in the morning while getting ready - this is
My family has been coming to Cape May for over 30 years, and we've stayed in many B&Bs throughout the city. King's Cottage is by far one of our favorite places to stay when we're visiting. It's a quaint cottage about a half-block away from the boardwalk and the beach; a little over a block from the Washington Street Mall. Our room was wonderfully designed and decorated, with great natural lighting and an ocean view — we could hear seagulls passing over the beach in the morning and the calm of crashing waves by night. ||||Barbara and Roseann, owners/innkeepers of King's Cottage, have always been delightful to me, my family, and our guests, and always put together lovely breakfasts and teatimes, including freshly baked muffins, breads, and cookies on most days. The overall style of the B&B i
