I called to make an appointment yesterday (1 August) for my 4-year-old to get his 2nd Moderna COVID shot. The Rappahannock Health District graphic recommends making an appointment, so I wanted to make sure that I gave us the best chance to get his shot today (2 August). I was told that an appointment wasn't necessary and that we could come in between 8-noon and 1-4. We arrived at 3:45 only to be told that they stopped giving shots at 3. I told them that I had called yesterday, that I was told they gave shots until 4, and that even though I requested an appointment, they weren't going to make one.
