Taste of Himalaya

Amazing place. The food and service is TOP OF THE LINE. We went on a cold day and decided to order soup, tea and a few entrees. The food was hot and flavorful and everyone there was so friendly. We will be back (if I was local to the area, I would dine there regularly). Very good Indian food restaurant.

This is my first time eating Himalayan food. My girlfriend and I decided to come here for our first anniversary together and let me tell you: the food is amazing and the staff are kind hearted and welcoming! I recommend getting their Naan and tandoori meals. They give you three options of spice: mild, medium and spicy. Also, if you’re married, or in a relationship with your loved one, make sure you get a carrot pudding to share. Definitely coming back next time and the best restaurant in King George!

Excellent food! Clean restaurant. I have eaten here 3 times now and each dish was perfectly cooked. I am not a fan of spicy hot food. I ask for mild always. Plenty of spice flavor without the heat. My husband loves it hot and if your a fan of spicy hot this is the place for you. The cucumber salad is awesome fresh and filling. We order as an appetizer.

The food was delicious and staff were warm and friendly. The interior was very well decorated and provided a very peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. I ordered the Nepali Thali set and got a delicious variety of Nepali foods. My boyfriend ordered the butter chicken. Some of the best butter chicken we ever tasted! We were visiting from out of town, but I would make the trip again just to eat here again. It was highlight of our trip!

Everything was very beautiful from the scenery, to the professionalism of the staff... fabulous atmosphere. When the food came out (i ordered Vindaloo extra spicy with lamb) it was a healthy portion of some of the best vindaloo I've ever had. Lamb cooked to perfection and the appetizer of gizzards are also worth giving a try! Great for a date night, special night, or any kind of social situation.
