Belle Grove Plantation Bed and Breakfast

Amazing property with great charm, beauty and history. The food was excellent and the staff both knowledgeable and friendly. I felt as if I'd stepped back in time to a more relaxed period and could linger still on the balcony porch overlooking the very impressive Rappahanic river view. Every room is inviting for different reasons - not to mention comfortable. This is not your average B&B I can assure you as the idea is to explore and relax in this idyllic location during your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our unrushed afternoon tea and the tour after was pleasant and informative. I would encourage anyone who enjoys history and changing gears with a getaway to put this on their list and once there pull out your best read, explore or just bask in the views!

Our visit to Belle Grove during the Dickens of a Time Christmas was truly magical. The tea was fabulous as was the tour. The grounds and view are beautiful, especially from the porch chairs overlooking the water. The decorations were spectacular and truly ushered in the season. Dinner was incredible and it ended with beautiful harmonies from festive carolers. The staff here are truly a cut above. It was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Before check-out, we were escorted to the dining room for both a creative and delightful holiday breakfast. Everything was so innovative and right in line with the time-period and I have even reached out several times since our stay to get recipe ideas for our own upcoming holiday gatherings! Belle Grove Plantation was the perfect and most unique wedding venue I could have ever dreamed of. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to accommodate every detail, and the customer service was exceptional. The location itself was absolutely gorgeous, providing a stunning and romantic setting for our wedding day. My guests were able to stay at the charming bed and breakfast, with rooms that were just as beautiful as the venue itself. Michelle and Linda were truly amazing—professional, attentive, and so incredibly kind. I am forever grateful to them for making my special day an unforgettable, elegant, and classy celebration. I can't recommend Belle Grove enough—it made all my wedding dreams come true!

Went on the holiday tea and tour and it was absolutely lovely! As a tea lover, I was surprised and thrilled at the wide selection of teas. The tour included all the bedrooms that are part of the B and B. What makes it different from other historical homes is that you can sit down on all the chairs and sofas in each room during the tour. Since I live close by, I will definitely be back. So glad to have this gem in our county.

We recently attended for afternoon tea. It was $180 for four people and the food was decent. The house was decorated beautifully for the holiday season and that's really the reason you go. Others have mentioned that you are rushed to finish and that's true, you have 60 minutes for tea. They missed our reservation somehow so we ended up getting our teas about 10/15 minutes later than everyone else, but luckily they offered a later tour; but by the end we simply wanted to leave. The owner, I forget her name, joined us during our tea and began talking to us about her life. Then, later while our family was having a private discussion we hear voices. Ghosts? No!
