Killington Distillery - Still on the Mountain

We came here after a Spartan OCR event. There was a singer doing good live covers of popular old songs. We sat on the other side of the wall and were not blasted by the vocals. It was enjoyable. I had two cocktails which went down very easy. They certainly were not heavy on alcohol but hard to say if they were low on alcohol. The portion size was good in my chicken and rice. It was loaded up with sauce. The chicken and vegetable were juicy, which made the rice noticeably dry.

Scoped out this spot over the weekend and it didn't disappoint! Their maple old fashioned was on point and my grass-fed burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. The bbq sauce, onions, and thick cut bacon on the burger were awesome and the side salad was super fresh, crispy, and served with a great balsamic dressing. Their gift shop had a lot of nice stuff in it too. I will be back!!

This place could be great. Music and vibe was cool. Then several errors with the food order. Burger was inedible. Desserts for takeout could have been the best part, but got back to our room to find the food was thrown in the boxes. I never leave a bad review, but management has to be aware and not care.

It’s been about 2 years since I lasted visited and I was pleased by our return visit. Friendly server (Gavi), great cocktails (Mountain water) and yummy sandwich (pulled pork). Missed the live music but had a great time. Will be back soon!

This place is a pure joy for me and my husband every time we visit Killington. The staff and managers are always super pleasant and the food is 10/10. I have a gluten intolerance now and the menu is pretty extensive for GF options! Highly recommend!
