KFC

We all wonder why all the KFC’s in Delaware are going out of business. Greeted at the drive thru with “we’re lobby only today”. Ok…. Maybe they are understaffed today. I go to walk, first two doors to the building are locked. Then I go to walk around the other side of the building and the cashier is outside smoking a cigarette, who tells me she’ll meet me inside. There are two other gentleman in the store, so clearly they have the staff to be operating. I mean honestly the food could be a 10/10 but with terrible service.

We went here on 12/19/2025 at approximately 2:10 pm, and just watched people walk out and when we got to the door they were all locked and there were two people standing in the back of the restaurant and nobody was at the drive through window and the one just stared at us. I’m glad that their manager doesn’t mind losing customers and money, but just thought he would like to know he’s paying his employees to do nothing until 10 pm when they close. Especially when they obviously lock up before 2:30 pm. We definitely will find a new place to go !!! Thank you KFC in Smyrna DE, also according to the reviews from a month ago looks like we weren’t the only ones who will be finding a better place to go for dinner!!!

Absolutely terrible, worst kfc I've ever been to. Rude customer service, they were mad and accusing me of lying when I got half the stuff I ordered. Paid for 4 biscuits with my meal, got 4 cheap crappy sandwich rolls instead. Should of just got a refund because all the food tasted old and stale anyway.

DO NOT GO HERE! Run away as fast as you can!!! This is the worst KFC in the franchise! They’re never adequately staffed, it’s dirty inside I’m surprised the inspectors haven’t shut this place down. The food is overcooked and salty or they don’t have items on the menu and the wait times are ridiculous. This place is disgusting and disgraceful save your money and go somewhere else.

Did not clear parking lot from ice a week ago. almost fell a few times. Drive thru was down. Chicken was dry, biscuit was bland and the fries were hard. Wasted money and time.
