Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream

Great location and very good ice cream—sweet, flavorful, and delicious. However, I’m giving two stars due to a major service issue. Leaving one employee to serve and assist around 19 customers is simply not fair to the staff or the guests. This resulted in long waits and a poor overall experience, which is a clear service failure on management’s end, not the employee’s. I’m happy to update this review once the staffing issue is addressed. Posted on December 21, 2025, at approximately 4:00 PM.

This was my third time visiting Kelly’s Ice Cream in Maitland, and I always have a great experience! The location is super convenient, and the decor is adorable and definitely gives cozy, happy vibes. The staff is always so sweet and welcoming, especially when it comes to offering samples (which I love!). Parking is also free in the area. I got my usual birthday cake ice cream in a waffle cup (my fave!), and it never disappoints. I really like that they introduce new flavors every month, even though I usually stick to what I love. Maybe next time I’ll switch it up and try something new. Either way, this place is a gem! 🍦💕

Had the mexican chocolate - what a great flavor idea! Truly one of the best flavors I've ever had. Love the decor inside. There was only one person working behind the counter so the line was a little slow. I parallel parked on the street, there's not a lot of parking but it looks like there might be a parking garage shared by the other businesses in the area. There's only 3 two seat tables inside. Some tables outside and across the street, a little park area with seating.

Kelly’s Homemade Ice cream is THE PLACE!! The locations are in cute areas to be able to enjoy your delicious work of art! The flavors vary widely and are yumm! My personal favorite is the Cookie Monster in a dipped chocolate waffle cone!

OMG! The ice cream was DELICIOUS. The shop is in a very cute area. Steele (the young gentleman who served me) was very patient and kind. He was able to answer all of my questions. I got the waffle bowl, double scoop of banana pudding and strawberry ice cream. The banana pudding literally tastes like banana pudding it was soooooooooo good. This is our new ice cream spot. Can't wait to visit again!
