Katie's Korner Homemade Ice Cream

I visited this location on 02/06 for a banana split, they were out of bananas so no banana split, okay no problem. I ordered a thick chocolate shake and a scoop of black cherry ice cream just to meet the $10 threshold to use a credit card (absolutely absurd) in 2026 as most people do not carry cash. The milkshake was watery, not extra thick as I paid for, and had ice crystals throughout the whole shake, in every sip, super disappointing and bad quality. The black cherry icecream also was all ice crystals. I definitely wont be back and do not recommend.

I wanted some good ice cream and a friend suggested this place, I'm so glad she did. It was so worth it! Definitely recommend! Cheaper and better than dairy queen.

Disappointing. We used to love the ice cream here but recently it seems to have gone downhill. A single scoop of Heath ice cream had more ice crystals than candy in it, not to mention it was super tiny and flavored more like vanilla. The milkshake we ordered also had ice in it and was runny. It almost seemed watered down. So many great ice cream options in the area, Katie’s Korner is going to need to step up and do better.

Quaint little place with clean outdoor picnic tables. The ice cream is obviously homemade with great flavor options. The girls who were working were very friendly
