Nice quite place for a special dinner with your significant other and/or friends. Cozy atmosphere with soft lighting and well trained staff. Food is the best I’ve had in Citrus county. Menu and portions are adequate. Prices are high but mostly reasonable. We’ve been there twice and will go back.
We went for my sweetheart's birthday. We both had lobster bisque to start things off, along with a cocktail. The cocktail was "meet me in Maui". Both were very good. My wife had a shrimp and pasta dish while I had scallops. Again, both were very good. The restaurant is quite nice inside, but small. So, I would recommend a reservation if you plan to try it. Our server was kind and very attentive. She came out to our table with a "Happy birthday" card signed by all the staff. I was a bit surprised that she didn't bring my wife and small pieces of cake after we finished our entrees which normally happens at restaurants for a birthday, but we were quite full anyway. It is a little pricey. For the two of us, include top our bill was $170.
Group of us finally got to try this place. Alex our waiter was spot on to every detail from menu selections, to checking my glass that had water spit on it to making sure all of us enjoyed our meal. Food was amazing. We all had variety from Sea bass, Ribeye(best we’ve ever had), to the Filet mignon, and my favorite the Lobster Risotto . Dessert we all had crème burlee. Everything was spot on and we will definitely be back.
We loved this diamond in the rough. The unpretentious facade belies what delights await within. The small (14 tables) and modest bar (8 seats) is tiny but mighty! The food is the best I have had in the area, short ribs, rack of lamb, truffle and mushroom risotto and pork tenderloin - all were fantastic. The wedge salad was huge and definitely should be split! Also, nice selection of cocktails, and wine. Beer is unfortunately only in cans and bottles. End with a fantastic desert like crème brûlée! Let them know it’s a special occasion and they will put a nice card on the table. Our server, Laurie, was the BEST and enhanced the evening with her professionalism! The on line reservation system said it was going to be very busy, but it really was not, which was odd. Yes, it is a bit pricy for t
This place was fantastic. We tried a little bit of everything and it was so good. The beet salad and the chicken was my favorite! Highly recommend trying this place and if you get Alex you’re in luck. Thank you for the great service.
