Post-theatre dinner at Kashkaval Gardens, a true hidden gem in Hell’s Kitchen. They have a wonderful Mediterranean menu (+ happy hour from 3-6). We feasted on an assortment of kabobs and squash caponata. Make sure you have a reservation! It was empty when we arrived, but by the time we left, there wasn’t an empty table in the entire restaurant. A shout out to David, THE most entertaining bartender in NYC!
Such a lovely experience having dinner here. The back room was so cozy but overall the entire place is very nice and cozy. Food was delicious and the mocktails were tasty. They also have a prixe fix that looked great but didn’t have the stomach space for it. Service was awesome and everyone working there is extremely nice and on top of it. We will definitely be coming back!
We visited Kashkaval Garden two weeks in a row, and both times were absolutely amazing. Last week, we enjoyed a delicious truffle cheese fondue paired with a Lambrusco, and our server truly made the evening complete. This week, we were back in New York and couldn’t resist returning to this restaurant. We ended up spending four hours at the table, enjoying cheese boards, pitas, everything was perfect. I was even surprised with a prosecco for my birthday, which made the night extra special. Another top evening, with a special thanks to Hayden. Can’t wait to come back soon!
Loved the borek. The atmosphere was really classic and homey and the bartender B was so attentive and friendly. She made everyone at the bar feel so comfortable. I had a winter in Manhattan and it was the perfect winter drink. Highly recommend. Want to come back to get the old fashioned cold brew when I need to stay up later.
We happened upon this little gem our last visit to NYC. Very cool atmosphere with an open air front. We were able to get seats at the bar as all the tables were full. It was happy hour and we started with the Four Mezze platter. We chose: babaganoush, Tzaziki, hummus and Turkish Bean Salad which came with 4 warm pitas. This turned out to be our meal as we were pleasantly full and indulged in the chocolate torte for dessert. We would love to go back next time we visit NYC.
