Kaiyo Grill & Sushi

My wife birthday they made it special! I got wood fired pork chop, very good. My wife got lobster and filet mignon kabobs. They were good except some of the beef was undercooked and she couldn't eat it. Ginger tea was a nice addition to our evening.

My husband and I had dinner last evening and chose to sit at the bar and have our dinner there. We had sushi which was outstanding. We also had the pleasure of being served by Melissa who said she was new there but made menu suggestions based on the local favorites. She was spot on! She seemed very enthused about her new move to the Keys and said she was very happy to have joined the team at your establishment. She did a great job taking care of everyone at the bar and seemed to create an upbeat and fun atmosphere. We will be back when in town!

We fished in the afternoon and brought in some of the fish for them to cook. It was close to kitchen closing time, but the people couldn't have been nicer and sat us down and got right to work preparing our fish 3 different ways. Everything was amazing, especially our waitress and the rest of the staff. Thank you for finishing our day in style!!

Went to Kaiyo last night while working nearby. The Tuna Nachos were awesome! I had the Coco Loco and it was delicious. Lots of folks there and it took 20 minutes to get some more water after the bottle was taken away but overall a great place. A premium place with a Premium price.

Sushi was absolutely amazing!! Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had to be honest. The only negative thing I’d have to say is the service was definitely lacking. We waited almost an hour for our check after we were finished eating. Honestly disappointing since it was such a positive experience until that point.
