Kabul Kabob Express

We have been here for a year and everything has been excellent. Meats are grilled to perfection, lamb shanks are just the right amount of tenderness, flavors are always so spot on, the side dishes are flavorful and the bread is always fresh. If I were to move from the DMV then I would gladly travel back here to eat their food.

Absolutely incredible experience! The food was rich in authentic Afghani flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. You can tell they take real pride in both the taste and quality of their dishes. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while — highly recommend!

DON’T skip the Baklava!! Great lunch date spot. Pita is made to order, dough is fresh. Ingredients are bright.

This is my absolute favorite Afghan kabob spot in the DMV. The BEST hospitable service, food always on point and big portions! They don’t cram everything in one to go box- they give you your side separate- the kabob is always juicy and tasty- and the chapli kabob is my all time favorite. Really love this place!
