Customer Reviews
Found this place by accident as we had come to Grand Haven for a book store that was nearby and we needed some lunch and saw this as we walked past. Service was good and we were sat in a private booth and immediately given a jug of iced water. Food we had was good and reasonably priced. Certainly wouldn’t hesitate in returning.
JWs has some killer happy hour specials and was a very cool place! Service was great! Pretzel sticks, French onion soup and the Perch were the favorites for our group! I got BBQ Chicken flatbread and thought it was good for $5, but wish it had a little more BBQ sauce. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!
Enjoyed a cozy meal at JW’s! The French onion soup and white chicken chili were delicious, and the quaint, old-fashioned atmosphere added to the charm. The Grinch-themed Christmas decor was a delightful touch. Great spot for a relaxing bite during the holidays! Would recommend to a friend.
I was more than impressed with this restaurant! They got us (a party of 6) in quickly both times we came in here. The servers were top notch both times, attentive, upbeat, happy, and friendly. The first time we went I got the BLT and it was amazing! My kids got the bacon cheeseburger, mini cheeseburger, Mac and cheese and chicken tenders. My husband got the French Dip, all the food was delicious! The second time, I got the nachos, and the kids got the same thing, and my husband got the wet burrito, all of it was good but not as good as the first time we came. The quesadilla looked so good I should have tried that, lol, but that will be for the next time. Since we will be back next time we’re in town.
The food is amazing, great specials and the staff is great! The only complaint is sometimes the wait for a table. I have gotten to where I try and get there before 5 as your chances are better of getting in and getting to a table otherwise there is a wait from 25-40 minutes for a table. It is worth the wait but a wait still.
