OTR Behind The Bookcase Coffee Lab

The coffee is fantastic and the music selection is phenomenal. I had a lychee processed Colombian pour over and it was incredible, they are extraordinarily thoughtful in their brews. For anyone that likes coffee, it’s a must-visit.

This place is a total vibe. It’s a cozy little refuge with delicious craft coffee drinks and such lovely staff. It feels like Grand Haven’s best kept secret. Fun bonuses… you get to pick your own mug and they have a very cute and friendly shop dog named Waylon!

Love finding hidden gems like this - so cute, great service. Choose from four types of espresso and allll the alternative milks. So happy we stopped in!

Me and a couple friends found this gem while looking for a place to grab coffee on our way home from a weekend trip. It took us a little while to figure out it was inside Off the Record but the scavenger hunt was well worth it! It's been a long time since I've found a place with such a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. My jade snail tea was absolutely perfect and I felt like everywhere I turned I found another little hidden treasure. The owner at the front counter was more than happy to make some recommendations and I left with a couple records and new favorite place. It's eccentric in all the best possible ways and I can't wait to visit next time I'm in the area. You can really tell a lot of love has went into making OTR the refuge it is and I definitely recommend stopping in.

Really cool little coffee shop tucked in the back of off the record, a must stop for any coffee and music lover. Friendly barista's and customers offer chill vibes and pleasant conversations. Highly recommend the espresso and tonic!
