Enjoyed a very nice dinner here with my Bolivian friend. We enjoyed everything, only wished it was open a little later. We had a cuñape, which they made themselves, we both had leche de tigres, which were tasty (heavy on the lemon/lime juice, & the fish was broken up quite a bit.. so not much texture except for the nuts and lettuce) and she had sachipappas, and i had pescado a la chorrellana. That was the highlight for me. The fish was cooked very well and the flavor was on point. Very generous with the portions, and the yucca fries were homeade.
It's very family oriented Peruvian cuisine. Loved the food, family style (size as well). Waiter was wonderful, gave great recommendations to the menu. After many years, the food still taste amazing.
My family and I have been getting food from Julianna's since I was a small child. I am now an adult. Last night my mom ordered chicken and beef salteñas. I ate 2 of the chicken salteñas and I felt severe nausea after 1-2 hours of eating them. I woke up at 3 in the morning violently throwing up. At 10am I began to have diarrhea, and at 12pm I recorded a 99.6 fever. I called the restaurant to let them know so that other customers wont get sick. I was dismissed and the woman on the phone simply said "our salteñas are freshly made" and said goodbye. I am highly disappointed in my experience as my family and I have been buying food from this establishment for many years. I would've never thought I would be spoken to so rudely.
Went to “Julianna’s” on Saturday for lunch, and I was blown away by the food. Great service by the host/owner. I definitely recommend getting the empanada’s as an appetizer. My main dish was equally amazing!
Very authentic and very delicious. The service is always excellent and the prices are great. I’ve paid three times as much for less than half the amount of food at other restaurants. The owners are very friendly and welcoming . He’s the chef and she runs the dining area. This is a Bolivian/Peruvian restaurant that represents both countries very well with its food and drink selection. I recommend their “moconchinche” (I have no idea if I spelled that right). It’s a very refreshing drink made from dried peaches…think of it as a sweet iced peach tea. You also must try the salteñas. They’re basically Bolivian meat pies and they are super juicy and delicious. Julianna’s gets a clean five stars from me straight across the board…and my whole family agrees to that. “Muchas gracias señora! Fue un
