JRO'S BURGERS and SUBS

This is a true hometown, feel-good place to eat that is one of those best-kept secrets. I've loved everything I've ever ordered there, and their homemade chips are wonderful. Pictured is my Philly Cheesesteak sub that came overflowing with steak and cheese. You need to frequent this hole-in-a-wall treasure in downtown Papertown Canton. You'll be glad you did.

Get off that interstate and get in here. Wow the best tasting beef you’re gonna find in this part of the country. So good home made burgers. Worth the visit for sure!

In my opinion, also confirmed by friends and family, this is the best burger in WNC. Fresh ingredients coupled with delicious Local or Ribeye beef make this a juicy delicious burger. It doesn't mater if you choose the Carolina Burger or a Grilled Cheese Baccon Cheeseburger (yes you can make it a double, but you do not have too.) You will be filled. Couple the yummy food with an old time feel and you will find yourself taken back in time. Plenty of local history on the walls. The place is well lit and perfect for family. This is place where you get water you pay for. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved their hamburgers. We had the plain ribeye hamburger and a gouda bacon hamburgers, plus house fries and a delicious real root beer. It was outstanding. Grilled to perfection and the delicious quality of the beef is amazing. On top of that, they were so friendly, caring and pleasant. What a great treat in our motorcycle ride in those beautiful Appalachian Mountains. North Carolina friendly attitude at its best. Highly recommend!!

Quaint little local burger place with big flavor! I had the Cuban style sandwich and it did not disappoint! It was tasty and large. I took half home. The fries were a separate charge so my husband and I split. It was plenty! The fries had some kind of crispy seasoned coating on them, but were delicious. Second time here, and will be back! Yum!
